West Gippsland Seedbank Association Inc. Warragul
ABN: 70 067 057 631

The Seedbank is staffed entirely by volunteers.
You can learn as you go, however we do provide
two half-day training sessions when needed in November.
The protocols for seed collection are explained and
volunteers are given both the information and the opportunity to view the whole process required for the collection, cleaning and storage of seed.
After gaining some hands-on experience within Seedbank and the various jobs entailed, volunteers can choose whatever aspect they prefer to do.
The time commitment of each volunteer varies according to their availability. Our busiest season is over the summer period when most of the seed is ready to be collected and cleaned.
If you enjoy being in the bush, are interested in native plants and want to learn more, then why not join our friendly team.

Seedbank values all our volunteers...
